I hope you are all managing to stay cool this week! The temperature outside is dangerously high and expected to top 110 degrees with the heat index over the next few days, so be sure to check out my article on keeping your family safe during the heatwave. If you have A/C problems, there are a number of cooling stations in Easton—take advantage of them!
Summer Acting Camp
My daughter is LOVING the State Theatre Prestige Productions Acting Camp again this year! The kids have their big performance on Saturday at 2:00 PM. Tickets are available at the box office, and it should be a great show! It isn’t too early to sign your kids up for next year. The camp is two weeks long, and you can choose morning or afternoon sessions. Spaces fill up quickly, so check it out at the link above if you have little show kids.
Zoo Fun
July 21-27th is "Zookeeper Appreciation Week" at the Lehigh Valley Zoo. They will be featuring daily “Keeper Olympics”, activities to showcase their Keepers’ WILD sides! Zoo members can enjoy a special Ice Cream Party on July 21, with "free make-your-own-sundaes". Everyone can experience "Christmas in July" on July 25--a day packed with holiday-themed zoo fun and special deals!

Outdoor Events
If you have made plans to attend outdoor events this weekend, be sure to check for updated schedules. Many outdoor events have been canceled or postponed due to extreme heat. Just check before heading out. There are still LOTS of family-friendly events taking place this week, though. So check the events calendar, and be sure to get out and about!
