Greetings, Easton Area Macaroni Kid families!
I know. I know. You haven't heard from me in a while. Sorry about that. I have been on autopilot since losing my husband in July, and I didn't want to bum everyone out by writing about my personal issues. Anyway, my girls and I are doing okay and made it through the holidays intact--whew! I have even managed to get the tree and decorations taken down and into the basement--all by myself. It turns out I am capable of more than I thought. Where there's a will, there's a way.
We were planning on a road trip to Vermont over the break, but the weather didn't cooperate. We're going to fix up our old van and travel there during the summer break.
The Easton Book Festival is gearing up for a very special KIDS READING initiative that I will tell you more about soon! Book and Puppet has a SALE going on (all inventory) at its 22 Centre Square location! Be sure to stop by for their daily free storyhour, puppet shows, and discounted kids' books inventory this week.
Check out the Comedy Pet Theatre show at The State Theatre Center for the Arts on January 10th. It's a European-style pet circus using only adopted, talented pets! Looks like SO much fun for the whole family.
