About me
I am so excited to be your NEW Easton Area Macaroni KID Publisher! As I take over the role of publisher I wanted to share a bit about me! Did I give myself away as a Swiftie too quickly with that title! Busted! Totally a Swiftie, but there's a lot more to me as well. My family is my world and we LOVE to adventure together. My husband and I have been together for 19 years and will be married for 15 years in October. We finish each other's thoughts and sandwiches (haha) ... I always eat his food too (he really loves me). We have 2 amazing kids! Our son is almost 12 and our daughter is 9! We strongly believe in experiences over things and have had some epic adventures from a 2 week National Park hiking adventure to Shark Diving for our son's 10th birthday. We are an active, nature loving family.
Every day is also an adventure with our packed soccer/dance/field hockey/track schedule. On the way to and from activities we have a lot of car ride chats, sing a longs, book readings, and sometimes, naps! One of our favorite, simple things to do together is hang on the couch and watch a movie or show!
My husband is a Teacher and I am a School Counselor (we both work in high schools) and our summers at home as a family are our sacred time! This is also when we travel and adventure the most! We also have two 18 year old cats who have, quite literally, been the mascots of our life together.
From our love for food, local businesses, family activities to our love for exploring, finding new experiences and adventures, we are ready to bring all the things the Easton Area has to offer! If you see us out and about, please say hello, yell what's up, or bring it in for a hug! We're in this family adventure thing together and we'd love to say hi and meet you!!
What you can expect: First things first - what is the Macaroni KID Easton Area? Well it consists of the following towns: Easton, Bangor, Durham, Martin's Creek, Pen Argyl, Riegelsville, Tatamy, Mount Bethal, and Portland!
