SPARK Creativity Center! Imagination! And so much more!

SPARK Creativity Center Easton, PA

By Rebecca R - Easton, PA Area publisher July 24, 2024

Today MacKID Easton Area was hosted by SPARK Creativity Center located at 705 Village at Stones Crossing, Easton, PA.

Christina, SPARK Creativity Center owner, allowed our MacKIDs free rein of her incredible facility and both kids and adults had an amazing time! SPARK Creativity Center's website highlights the idea of "Ignite Imaginations" and Christina immediately achieved her goal with our kids! They were drawn in and excited by the warm setting and abundance of options for art, creative play, dress up, 3D Printing, physical activity, and more!

Our group consisted of a 2 year old, 5 year, 9 year old, and 12 year old and SPARK Creativity Center had something fun and engaging for every age! While the littles got settled into dress up and imaginative play, Christina showed the big kids the 3D Printing Room. Christina spent ample time teaching, explaining, and demonstrating the inter workings of her 3D Printers. While they did venture out at times during our stay, this is where they spent the majority of their time!

One of Christina's goals in bringing her dream to life with SPARK Creativity Center was to have a space in her center that would provide older siblings or friends with a place to have fun and create while the little kids do their thing! Christina, goal achieved! The bigs adored spending so much time in the 3D Printing Room, spending time with you as you taught them so much, and were in awe of what your 3D Printing space can do!

Meanwhile in the main play area the littles were busy "baking", playing doctor and chef, climbing on the indoor moon climb, zooming around on ride on toys, playing dress up, painting, drawing, playing on the train table, using stickers, meeting Bluey, playing with the doll house, "cleaning", etc!

Worried a center like this might get crowded? FEAR NOT - Christina is uber conscious of this concern and has a max capacity per session to ensure that her center is welcoming, safe, and that there is plenty of space for all to create, imagine, explore, and play. Additionally, Christina's SPARK Creativity Center has space for caregivers to sit, relax, and enjoy the complimentary coffee bar while the kiddos go off to the world of SPARK Creative Center's imaginative play and 3D Printing!

Christina's background in social work and time spent as a Family Counselor, Support Coordinator, and Stay At Home Mom matched with her current work as a music teacher (check out Bambini's created by Christina!) have provider her with vast experience in working with children and families! Christina's passion for working with children is what led to her following her dreams and opening SPARK Creativity Center. Her passion was immediately evident and all 4 MacKIDs were drawn to her!

Here are our Mac KID's favorite parts of SPARK Creativity Center - 2 year old - play kitchen, 5 year old - dress up and the moon climb, 9 year old - drawing with the 3D Pen and watching the 3D printer at work, 12 year old - printing with the 3D printers.

SPARK Creativity Center's Grand Opening Event is happening this Sunday, July 28, 2024 from 10:00am-4:00pm. The day is FULL of incredible activities, fun, and opportunities to check out what will regularly be offered at SPARK Creativity Center! Click HERE to find more information, see a full event schedule (Bluey will be there!), and purchase tickets! Sibling discounts available!

Please stay tuned to SPARK Creativity Center's Website, Facebook, and Instagram to learn more about upcoming programs in the near future. Christina plans to run a Nurture Circle for new caregivers to support each other through the wild transition into parenthood/caregiving, current news and research, and the journey that is parenting/caregiving. MacKID Easton ADORES this concept because, let's be honest, we all could use support in this journey and, as Christina told me today, it takes a village!

Christina also plans to run after school clubs for kids to have a creative outlet after school and give caregivers a place to send their kids for that hour or two prior to the end of their work day!

MacKID Easton urges you to check out SPARK Creativity Center! You won't be disappointed!

Until next time,

Rebecca
